Studying of Hydraulic conductivity and Soil Quality Parameters after Operation of Koot-Hamoodi Units in DashtAzadeghan Irrigation Network

Abstract:

Koot - Hamoodi are two units from seventh units out of 1&2 irrigation and drainage network in Dasht-Azadeghan project where was past about 7 years from their operation. Results of the studies were showed before construction of network; ground water table in considered of this area was high and more than 90% of these lands were high and too high in saline and alkaline. After construction and operation of main irrigation and drainage network in these units, a question was propounded that whether any change happened after construction of lined channels and relatively deep drainages or not. Results of this study were showed in Hamoodi unit, ground water table a little was down, but in koot unit, ground water level is high in comparison of when network had not constructed. Salinity of ground water in some area of these two units be fixing but in the other part be low. Hydraulic conductivity in some points has no any change but in others there are some changed. Comparison of some soil quality parameters in different deep of soils showed the soil chemical parameters in some parts were low and in the other parts is high.
