برهمکنش های فوق ریز در مکان اورانیوم از ترکیب آنتی فرومغناطیس usb2 با استفاده از نظریه تابعی چگالی و روش امواج تخت بهبود یافته به علاوه اوربیتالهای موضعی (apw+lo) بررسی شده اند. میزان جایگزینی الکترونهای ƒ در این ترکیب مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. نتایج نشان می دهند که الکترونهای 5ƒ تمایل دارند به خوبی با الکترونهای رسانش هیبرید شوند.
