Impurity removal is a momentous part of zinc hydrometallurgy process. In this paper, hybrid modeling method mechanism and parameter estimation was proposed on the basis not changing actual production process lead-zinc smeltery. Firstly, overall nonlinear dynamic model established, then deviation between theoretical value detected outlet ion concentration taken as objective function to establish...
The occurrence of chromosome aberrations was studied in short-term cultured lymphocytes from nine workers exposed to arsenic at the Rönnskär smeltery in northern Sweden. In the smelter workers, 87 aberrations were found in 819 mitoses. The number of aberrations varied individually from 0 to 25 aberrations per 100 cells. In a control material 13 aberrations were found in 1012 mitoses. The freque...
background: heat stress is one of the agents in the work environment that can create numerous problems for workers. the objective of this research is to study heat stress control in the foundry platform of a steel plant in tehran. methods: in this experimental study, controlling plans were demonstrated for the work conditions improvement in one of steel plant's foundry platforms. for controllin...
GOAL, SCOPE AND BACKGROUND Rapid urbanization and the expansion of industrial activities in the past several decades have led to large increases in emissions of pollutants in the Pearl River Delta of south China. Recent reports have suggested that industrial emission is a major factor contributing to the damages in current natural ecosystem in the Delta area. Tree barks have been used successfu...
Environmental and occupational exposure to lead (Pb) remains to be a major public health issue. The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to use non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy ((1)H MRS) techniques to investigate whether chronic exposure to Pb in an occupational setting altered brain structure and function of Pb-exposed workers. The ...
background: this study has been conducted on workers from several workplaces where materials containing lead are used during december 2006-april 2007 in eskişehir, a city of the middle anatolian region of turkey. methods: the study and control groups were occured with 403, and 97 men, respectively. after each interview with the individuals, their blood pressures (bp) and complete blood counts (...
