In this paper, the authors investigated the various factors, which can affect the performance of a turbofan engine. For this, the various subunits of a turbofan engine like inlet duct, compressor, combustion chamber, liner, turbine, exhaust nozzle etc. are investigated to find its various reliability characteristics through Markov process and supplementary variable technique (SVT). The main adv...

Isokinetic resistance is frequently used to strength profile healthy athletes and to evaluate the status of injured athletes involved in rehabilitation programs. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the reliability of peak torque, torque acceleration energy, endurance ratio, average power, and total work measures obtained with a Cybex isokinetic dynamometer. Fifteen college studen...

The Motion Sensitivity Test (MST) is a clinical protocol designed to measure motion-provoked dizziness during a series of 16 quick changes to head or body positions. The MST has been used as a guide for developing an exercise program for patients with motion-provoked dizziness and as a treatment outcome measure to monitor the effectiveness of vestibular rehabilitation therapy. This study determ...
