the radar cross section of a target plays an important role in the detection of targets by radars. this paper presents a new method to predict the bistatic and monostatic rcs of coated electrically large objects. the bodies can be covered by lossy electric and/or magnetic radar absorbing materials (rams). these materials can be approximated by the fresnel reflection coefficients. the pro...
radar cross section (rcs) calculation is an important issue of objects stealth and identification. it is necessary to design the rcs software because of the high cost of rcs measurements in practice. in this paper, designing of efficient software using physical optics theorem for radar cross section calculation of the complex perfect electric conductors or complex dielectric objects for high fr...
The performance of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar configurations of distributed antennas are analyzed. Statistical multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar develops angular diversity to mitigate the impact of radar cross section fluctuations (RCF). The fluctuations can be modeled with scattering model consists of non-orthogonal waveforms for fast target or radar cross section fl...
In this paper, a new method for radar cross section reduction of a monopole antenna is proposed. In this method, a plasma helix like fluorescent bulbs is placed around the antenna element. The selected plasma parameter for this medium acts as an absorber without disturbing the antenna performance. The simulations show that radar cross section of simulated antenna is reduced in a wide frequency ...

This study examines differences in the normalized radar cross section, derived from ground-based versus spaceborne radar data. A simple homogeneous half-space model, indicates that agreement between the two improves as 1) the distance from the scatterer is increased; and/or 2) the extinction coefficient increases.
