The aim of this paper is investigating of Orlicz spaces with exponential N function and correspondence Orlicz norm: we introduce some new equivalent norms, obtain the tail characterization, study the product of functions in Orlicz spaces etc. We consider some applications: estimation of operators in Orlicz spaces and problem of martingales convergence and divergence.
We present a proof that in Orlicz spaces the Amemiya norm and the Orlicz norm coincide for any Orlicz function ‘p. This gives the answer for an open problem. We also give a description of the Amemiya type for the Mazur-Orlicz F-norm.

Let M be a non-degenerate Orlicz function such that there exist ǫ > 0 and 0 < s < 1 with ∑ ∞ i=1 M(ǫs)/M(s) < ∞. It is shown that the Orlicz sequence space hM is isomorphic to a subspace of C(ω).
