BACKGROUND Ophthalmomyiasis is a rare entity seen mainly in immunocompromised host with neglected wounds under poor hygienic conditions. CASE We report a case of extreme ophthalmomyiasis with extensive facial and scalp involvement in an old rural inhabitant following evisceration.
