the aim of this paper is to show how some measures of noncompactness in the banach space of continuous functions defined on two variables can be applied to the solvability of a general system of functional integral equations . the results obtained generalize and extend several equations . an illustrative example is also presented .
in this paper, using the tools involving measures of noncompactness and darbo fixed point theorem forcondensing operator, we study the existence of solutions for a large class of generalized nonlinear quadraticfunctional integral equations. also, we show that solutions of these integral equations are locally attractive.furthermore, we present an example to show the efficiency and usefulness of ...
a characteriation of continuity of the $p$-$lambda$-variation function is given and the helly's selection principle for $lambda bv^{(p)}$ functions is established. a characterization of the inclusion of waterman-shiba classes into classes of functions with given integral modulus of continuity is given. a useful estimate on modulus of variation of functions of class $lambda bv^{(p)}$ is found.
we have devided the thesis in to five chapters. the first recollects facts from purely algebraic theory of jordan algebras and also basic properties of jb and jb* - algebras which are needed in the sequel. in the second chapter we extend to jb* - algebras, a classical result due to cleveland [8]. this result shows shows the weakness of jb* - norm topology on a jb* - algebera. in chapter three, ...

In the present article we discuss approximation properties of genuine Lupac{s}-Beta operators of integral type. We establish quantitative asymptotic formulae and a direct estimate in terms of Ditzian-Totik modulus of continuity. Finally we mention results on the weighted modulus of continuity for the genuine operators.
In most of our work we have been concerned with the one-dimensional case, but here we shall be able to say something about the general case. Roughly speaking, our aim has been to use the finiteness of Iv,P(f) to derive a priori bounds for other important functionals of ƒ, such as its modulus of continuity or other high order norms. The bounds we have obtained involve, of course, M* and p but th...
In the present paper, we generalize Zygmund classes of functions with two variables defined by Móricz by means of modulus of continuity, and give the necessary and sufficient conditions for double sine, sine-cosine, cosinesine and double cosine series so that their sums belong to the generalized Zygmund classes. Some new results of Fülöp [1] and [2] on double trigonometric series are extended.
A formal definition of ǫ-complexity of an individual continuous function defined on a unit cube is proposed. This definition is consistent with the Kolmogorov’s idea of the complexity of an object. A definition of ǫ-complexity for a class of continuous functions with a given modulus of continuity is also proposed. Additionally, an explicit formula for the ǫ-complexity of a functional class is o...
