a new series of thiazolidinedione derivatives were synthesized. the structures of these compounds were established by means of ir, 1h-nmr and elemental analysis. all of the compounds were screened for antidiabetic activity on albino rats. most of the compounds showed significant antidiabetic activity when compared with the standard drug glibenclamide.

Reusable silica supported perchloric acid and potassium bisulphate have been prepared and explored as green catalysts for thiocyanation of aromatic compounds under conventional and solvent free microwave assisted conditions. The microwave assisted protocol exhibited remarkable rate accelerations and offered selective thiocyanation of aromatic and hetero aromatic compounds in good yields. Reacti...

sno nanoparticles were synthesized using microwave–assisted hydrothermal method. it was noticed that at 300 and 600 watt microwave power, sno formed and remained in the tetragonal phase. at 900 watt, sno2 started appearing and a mixture of sno and sno2 phases coexisted. the particle size varied from ~2 to ~13 nm at 300 to 900 watt radiation power. the uv-v absorption spectra showed the excitoni...

The transesterification reaction of present study was assisted by ultrasonic mixing and microwave irradiation. Central composite design (CCD) was employed to optimize the transesterification reaction conditions of biodiesel production from soybean oil. A mathematical model predicted that the theoretical conversion rate of soybean oil of 102.19% could be obtained under the following reaction con...

The effectiveness of microwave-assisted protein digestion in different well positions of a 96-well microplate was investigated where microwave-assisted protein digestion of bovine serum albumin was performed in 10 different wells of a 96-well microplate in a microwave oven. Similarly increased sequence coverages (~70%) were generally observed for the 10 microwaveassisted protein digestion sampl...
