This report summarizes a study of the physics potential of the CLIC e+e− linear collider operating at centre-of-mass energies from 1 TeV to 5 TeV with luminosity of the order of 1035 cm−2 s−1. First, the CLIC collider complex is surveyed, with emphasis on aspects related to its physics capabilities, particularly the luminosity and energy, and also possible polarization, γγ and e−e− collisions. ...

The multi-TeV e+e− collider CLIC may allow for the direct study of new neutral gauge bosons or Kaluza-Klein states in the TeV range. We discuss some of the experimental aspects for the study of such resonances. Further we discuss briefly the effects of soft branes in scenarios with Large Extra Dimensions, and the production of Black Holes at CLIC.

We present the machine parameters and physics capabilities of the CLIC Higgs Experiment (CLICHE), a low-energy γγ collider based on CLIC 1, the demonstration project for the higher-energy two-beam accelerator CLIC. CLICHE is conceived as a factory capable of producing around 20,000 light Higgs bosons per year. We discuss the requirements for the CLIC 1 beams and a laser backscattering system ca...

The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) could provide ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collisions in two detectors simultaneously possibly at a bunch train frequency the linac twice baseline design value. In this paper, novel dual beam delivery system (BDS) is presented order to serve interaction regions (IR1 and IR2) including optics designs evaluation of luminosity performance with synchrotron radiat...

We investigate the production, backgrounds and signatures of pairs of charged heavy-fermions using the SU(3)L⊗U(1)N electroweak model in e+e− colliders (NLC and CLIC). We also analyze the indirect evidence for a boson Z ′ . PACS number: 12.60.-i,13.85.Rm,14.80.-j

The aim of the latest CLIC test facility CTF3, built at CERN by an international collaboration, is to prove the main feasibility issues of the CLIC two-beam acceleration technology. Several of the main goals have been already achieved in the past years, like the full-loading linac operation mode and the delay loop principle. During 2008 also the combiner ring concept has been experimentally pro...

CLIC-1 is a member of a family of proteins related to the bovine intracellular chloride channel p64 which has been proposed to function as a chloride channel. We expressed CLIC-1 as a glutathione S-transferase fusion protein in bacteria. The fusion protein was purified by glutathione affinity, and CLIC-1 was released from its fusion partner by digestion with thrombin. After further purification...

The recently discovered CLIC-2 protein (where CLIC stands for chloride intracellular channel), which belongs to the ubiquitous glutathione transferase structural family and is expressed in the myocardium, is a regulator of native cardiac RyR2 (ryanodine receptor 2) channels. Here we show that recombinant CLIC-2 increases [3H]ryanodine binding to native and purified RyR channels, enhances substa...
