in this paper, we introduce the concept of dynamical distance on a nuclear con- guration space. we partition the nuclear con guration space into disjoint classes. this clas-si cation coincides with the classical partitioning of molecular systems via the concept ofconjugacy of dynamical systems. it gives a quantitative criterion to distinguish di erentmolecular structures.

A bstract We consider spacetime-dependent solutions to string theory models with tadpoles for dynamical fields, arising from non-trivial scalar potentials. The have necessarily finite extent in spacetime, and are capped off by boundaries at a distance, realization of the Cobordism Conjecture. show that as configuration approaches these cobordism walls nothing, fields run infinite distance modul...

In the Anchoring Problem actions and objects must be anchored to symbols; and movement primitives as DMPs seems a good option to describe actions. In the bottom-up approach to anchoring, the recognition of an action is done applying learning techniques as clustering. Although most work done about movement recognition with DMPs is focus on weights, we propose to use the shape-attractor function ...

The nonlinear dynamical system modeling the immobilized enzyme kinetics with Michaelis-Menten mechanism for an irreversible reaction without external mass transfer resistance is considered. Laplace transform homotopy perturbation method is used to obtain the approximate solution of the governing nonlinear differential equation, which consists in determining the series solution convergent to the...

This paper presents an approach to defining distances between nonlinear and hybrid dynamical systems based on formal power series theory. The main idea is that the input-output behavior of a wide range of dynamical systems can be encoded by rational formal power series. Hence, a natural distance between dynamical systems is the distance between the formal power series encoding their input-outpu...
