The purpose of the present study is to assess large-scale signal modulation produced by two dynamically downscaled Seasonal Forecasting Systems (SFSs) and investigate if additional predictive skill can be achieved, compared driving global-scale Climate Forecast System (CFS). SFSs are evaluated in terms physical values anomaly interannual variability. Downscaled consist two-step dynamical ensemb...

d01 n and 8 d01 n edges in the Voronoi dual. The lower bound of Theorem 1 for k = 1 is equal to the expected number of edges of the Gabriel graph, and agrees with Devroye's results [2]. When k > 1, the Gabriel ball can extend arbitrarily far from the sites that dene it, and this apparently makes it impossible to extend our results to the broad classes of distributions Devroye treated for k = 1....
A fully coupled tide-surge-wave model was developed to study the influence of different computational domains on typhoon wave characteristics in waters surrounding Taiwan. Three typhoons were selected as cases: Meranti, Malakas, and Megi, which successively impacted Taiwan September 2016. Superposition CFSV2 winds blended with ERA5 onto yielded optimum simulations waves. Storm responses along e...
Abstract. The sensitive ecosystem of the central Himalayan (CH) region, which is experiencing enhanced stress from anthropogenic forcing, requires adequate atmospheric observations and an improved representation Himalaya in models. However, accuracy models remains limited this region due to highly complex mountainous topography. This article delineates effects spatial resolution on modeled mete...
This paper derives the Nash-equilibrium degrees of commitment to a partnership where lack of full commitment fuels suspicion and increases potential losses for partners. BACKGROUND The interactions of microbes with metal ions form an important basis for our study of biotechnological applications. Despite the recent progress in studying some properties of Au(III) adsorption and reduction by Bacillus megatherium D01 biomass, there is still a need for additional data on the molecular mechanisms of biosorbents responsible for their interactions with Au(III) to have...
A set of su¢ cient conditions for representability of preference orders on real sequence spaces is analyzed. In particular, monotonicity and continuity of the order is not assumed. Two applications are worked out to demonstrate how such a result might be useful. Jel Codes: C60, D01
We show that if agents are risk neutral, prizes outperform wages if and only if there is su¢ cient pride and envy relative to the noisiness of performance. If agents are risk averse, prizes are a necessary supplement to wages (as bonuses). Keywords: Envy, Pride, Wages, Prizes, Bonus JEL Classi cation: C72, D01, D23, L14.
