This paper investigates the centralized resource allocation with centralized structures by using the data envelopment analysis-ratio (DEA-R) models. To this end, it proposes a method to determine the resource allocation of centralized structures such that the ratio of inputs to outputs are minimized.
Background and Objectives: Different governance approaches have various definitions and systems about health. The purpose of this study was to compare the appropriateness of the health system performance with the ideology of the selected countries. Methods: In this comparative study, liberal countries (America, Canada, France), social countries (Russia, China, Cuba) and mixed countries (Sweden...
This study designs optimal systems for the centralized structures in data envelopmentanalysis (DEA). It assumes that a collection of decision making units (DMUs) with a masterdecision maker and a certain budget for them is available and introduces an optimal systemfor each DMU by maximizing their total revenue. A nmerical example is used to illustrate theproposed model.
Cloud computing has attracted the attention of many computing professionals in both the commercial and the educational sectors. Constant pressure to deliver on-demand computing services in a 24/7 environment amidst increasing financial pressure has placed cloud computing out of the realm of just hype and into the business plan of major organizations. As computing gets more sophisticated, it als...
The conventional approach to process enactment employs a client-server architecture, in which a central engine executes process descriptions and often stores documents produced by the processes. This approach has been successful for automating processes in many situations. However, it relies on a significant centralized computing infrastructure, which does not fit distributed, loosely coupled “...

In recent years, comprehensive researches have provided ample support for the supply chains in the coordinated decision-making framework. However, the issue of closed-loop supply chain coordination considering various transportation modes has not yet been addressed in the literature. In this paper, a two-echelon closed-loop supply chain consisting of a manufacturer and a retailer is investigate...
This paper considers a two stages pharmaceutical supply chain (PSC) consisting of a pharmaceutical manufacturer (pharma-manufacturer) that supplies one type of pharmaceutical product to a pharma-retailer. The customer demand rate for the pharmaceutical product is dependent on the pharma-retailer’s current-inventory level. The pharma-retailer determines the order quantity ( ) value as decision v...

In this paper, novel structures for dynamic removal of multiuser interference are proposed. The natural gradient (NG) is used either to compute whitening matrices in linear blind minimum MSE or to develop new structures. As a result, we propose a family of centralized and non-centralized multiuser detectors (MUD’s). The NG provides the MUD’s with the equivariant and superfficiency properties, m...
