The paper presents a novel N-channel chained symmetric-Mach-Zehnder-interferometers demultiplexer (CSMZI) for high-speed OTDM networks. The proposed scheme offers parallel demultiplexing capability with reduced complexity. Simulation results show that low bit error rate performance is achieved with low power penalty.
