Hemorrhoidal disease is a very common entity in the general population; however, the therapeutic approaches to hemorrhoids remain controversial. A technique to calculate the colored Jones polynomial of satellite knots, illustrated by the Whitehead double of knots, is presented. Then we prove the volume conjecture for Whitehead double of torus knots and show some interesting observations.
