a r t i c l e i n f o Quantifying hyporheic solute dynamics has been limited by our ability to assess the magnitude and extent of stream interactions with multiple domains: mobile subsurface storage (MSS, e.g., freely flowing pore water) and immobile subsurface storage (ISS, e.g., poorly connected pore water). Stream-tracer experiments coupled with solute transport modeling are frequently used ...
This Recommended Practice provides a common methodology for describing Transport Stream conformance criteria. This RP explicitly describes the elements and parameters of A/53 and A/65 that should be verified in an ATSC Transport Stream for it to be considered a proper emission. It does not cover RF, captioning, or elementary streams.

The transport and deposition of fine particulate organic matter (FPOM) is an important flux linking upstream and downstream reaches of stream ecosystems. However, few studies have attempted to identify physical controls on particle transport. One reason has been the lack of relatively simple, inexpensive methods. We describe a new technique for measuring fine particle transport in streams using...
Ports constitute crucial intermodal nodes in the freight and passenger transport network as well as important border control points. Their security is therefore of paramount importance not only because of their critical transport functions but also because of their specific role, as control points, in the regional, national and European security. Port security is a cornerstone for the implement...

In this paper we present superficially a software tool ---a DVB-MHP compliant Transport Stream Generator--designed for being part of the testbed of a MHP decoder prototype. The tool was implemented partially making use of XML technology and the software reuse philosophy (free-distributed parsers and tools) that in a sense goes with this special syntax.
