Gamma-proton collisions allow unprecedented investigations of the low x and high Q2 regions in quantum chromodynamics. In this paper, we investigate the luminosity for “ILC”×LHC ( √ sep = 1.3 TeV) and “CLIC”×LHC ( √ sep = 1.45 TeV) based γp colliders. Also we determine the laser properties required for high conversion efficiency.

A top-quark reconstruction method at Clic is described. The reconstructed events are used to measure the ee → tt̄ cross-section as well as the forwardbackward asymmetry. The results suggest that the measurement accuracy for the cross-section will be δσ σ = 1.4 % and for the asymmetry δAF B AF B = 4.2 % for 1 ab.
