In this paper numerical modeling of fire development in a single compartment railway passenger car has been performed using the FDS software. The simulation was focused on dynamic calculation temperature field and heat release rate. Obtained results were compared with experimental satisfactory agreement detected. It can be concluded that used for simulating different scenarios cars.
