Indium acetate was analyzed using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The specimen is a powder purchased from Sigma Aldrich. sample fixed to stainless-steel holder with copper 3MTM double-sided adhesive tape. Survey spectra, In 3d, O 1s, C 3p, MNN, and Cl 2p core levels spectra were acquired. Results showed how the elements in structure of indium are related.

The Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS) is an X-linked primary immunodeficiency caused by mutations in the gene encoding the WAS protein (WASP). WASP is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells and regulates the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton in response to various important cell stimuli including T cell receptor signaling. WASP is localized at the immunological synapses between T ce...

Human immunology is entering the next frontier. With the fast developing technology, we can today sequence the whole genome from an individual in a relatively short time. It is now possible to decipher pathological mechanisms in immunological diseases, including primary immunodeficiencies, with high specificity. A particularly interesting aspect to study is the development and maintenance of th...

The Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS) is an X-linked recessive disease characterized by immunodeficiency and severe thrombocytopenia in affected males, but no demonstrable clinical abnormalities in carrier females. Through analysis of the methylation patterns of X-linked genes that display restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs), we studied the pattern of X-chromosome inactivation in var...

Human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-identical sibling bone marrow transplantation is an effective treatment for Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome. However, most children with this disease lack such donors and many patients receive transplants from alternative donors. This study compared outcomes of HLA-identical sibling, other related donor, and unrelated donor transplantation for Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome. Th...
