the aim of this note is to study the submajorization inequalities for $tau$-measurable operators in a semi-finite von neumann algebra on a hilbert space with a normal faithful semi-finite trace $tau$. the submajorization inequalities generalize some results due to zhang, furuichi and lin, etc..

OBJECTIVE The purpose of the study was to investigate the properties of the delayed rectifier potassium current (IK) in myocytes isolated from undiseased human left ventricles. METHODS The whole-cell configuration of the patch-clamp technique was applied in 28 left ventricular myocytes from 13 hearts at 35 degrees C. RESULTS An E-4031 sensitive tail current identified the rapid component of...

Many tasks in image processing can be tackled by modeling an appropriate data fidelity term $\Phi: \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R} \cup \{+\infty\}$ and then solve one of the regularized minimization problems \begin{align*}&{}(P_{1,\tau}) \qquad \mathop{\rm argmin}_{x \in \mathbb R^n} \big\{ \Phi(x) \;{\rm s.t.}\; \Psi(x) \leq \tau \big\} \\&{}(P_{2,\lambda}) \qquad \mathop{\rm argmin}_{x \...

The intrinsic period tau of the circadian pacemaker in humans was investigated by means of forced desynchrony. In this protocol, during 6 scheduled days, the sleep-wake alternation was forced to a period of 20h (i.e., 13.5h for wakefulness and 6.5h for sleep). Light intensity was kept below 10 lux. Three experiments were performed. In experiment 1, 12 subjects were free to spend the available t...

We present recent measurements of the orbital motion in the binaries, DF Tau and ZZ Tau, and in the triples, Elias 12, T Tau, and V853 Oph. We observed these systems with the Fine Guidance Sensors on the Hubble Space Telescope and with adaptive optics imaging at the W. M. Keck and Gemini North Observatories. Based on our measurements and those presented in the literature, we perform preliminary...

We search for a light Higgs boson A0 in the radiative decay Upsilon(3S)-->gammaA(0), A(0)-->tau+tau-, tau+-->e+nu(e)nu(tau), or tau+-->mu+nu(mu)nu(tau). The data sample contains 122x10(6) Upsilon(3S) events recorded with the BABAR detector. We find no evidence for a narrow structure in the studied tau+tau- invariant mass region of 4.03<m(tau+tau-)<10.10 GeV/c2. We exclude at the 90% confidence ...

Let $X$ be a Banach space of $dim X > 2$ and $B(X)$ be the space of bounded linear operators on X. If $L : B(X)to B(X)$ be a Lie higher derivation on $B(X)$, then there exists an additive higher derivation $D$ and a linear map $tau : B(X)to FI$ vanishing at commutators $[A, B]$ for all $A, Bin B(X)$ such that $L = D + tau$.
