The relationship between behavior brain systems and impulsivity with high-risk sexual behavior

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between brain systems behavior and impulsivity, with high-risk sexual behavior. The review was detailed co-relational research. The population consists of all undergraduates of universities in Mashhad were enrolled in the academic year 1396. A total of 100 students male volunteered and were chosen using the sampling method. Data was collected Gary Willson personality questionnaire (1989), risky sexualbehavior questionnaire(2007) and Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (1995) . Data analysis were used Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that men with high-risk sexual behavior and impulsivity behavioral activation system there is a significant relationship. Also, the results of the regression analysis suggest that the activation system and behavioral impulsivity is predictive of risky sexual behavior. Behavioral activation system and Impulsivity to have a significant role a tendency risky sexual behavior and Therefore, the inhibition can be used as an intervention for the prevention of high-risk sexual behaviors apply to these people.
