Let BN be the unit ball in the N-dimensional complex space, for ψ, a holomorphic function in BN , and φ, a holomorphic map from BN into itself, the weighted composition operator on the weighted Hardy space H(β,BN ) is given by (Cψ,φ) f = ψ(z) f (φ(z)), where f ∈H2(β,BN ). This paper discusses the spectrum of Cψ,φ when it is compact on a certain class of weighted Hardy spaces and when the compos...
متن کاملNorms of Composition Operators on the Hardy Space
Research supported in part by National Science Foundation grant DMS-9401206. Appel and Thrall were supported by the Foundation's REU program for work they performed as undergraduate assistants to Bourdon. We show that the norm of a composition operator on the classical Hardy space H2 cannot be computed using only the set of H2 reproducing kernels, answering a question raised by Cowen and MacCluer.
متن کاملMeasure of non strict singularity of Schechter essential spectrum of two bounded operators and application
In this paper, we discuss the essential spectrum of sum of two bounded operators using measure of non strict singularity. Based on this new investigation, a problem of one-speed neutron transport operator is presented.
متن کاملFourier spectrum characterization of Hardy Space
Fourier spectrum of the boundary values of functions in the complex Hardy Space H(C+) is characterized for p ∈ (0, 2). First, functions f in the L(R) can be decomposed into a sum g + h, where g and h are the non-tangential boundary limits of function in H(C+) and H(C−) in the sense of L(R), where H(C+) and H(C−) are the Hardy spaces in the upper and lower complex plane C+ and C−, respectively. ...
