چکیده مقاله:

The current study was conducted to evaluate effects of sequential or wet feeding programs subsequent to and early meal feeding regime on performance, carcass characteristics and humoral immunity in broiler chicks. 192 Ross 308 chicks (seven-day old) were allocated to four treatments at four replicates (12 chicks per plot) based on a Completely Randomized Design. Treatments were included: control group (C) where birds had free access to feed throughout the experiment, meal fed groups (MF) where birds were meal fed from 7 to 14 d and subsequently meal fed by the control diet (MFC), meal fed a wet diet (MFW) or subjected to a sequential feeding program (MFS) until day 42. The results showed a statistical reduction of feed intake and increased feed conversion ratio during the meal feeding period (P

The objective of the current study was to evaluate the effect of feeding time restriction in alternate day on performance and Heterophil to Lymphocyte (H/L) ratios as indices stress of broiler chickens. A total 180 seven day-old unsexed broiler chicks were randomly allocated to three treatments: chicks fed ad libitum (P-0); chicks had free access to feed from 07:00 to 09:00, 12:00 to 13:00 and ...

Wet Feeding Mitigates the Adverse Effectsof High Dietary Rice Bran Levels on Growth Performance and Nitrogen Retention of Broiler Chickens

The objective of this study was to evaluate whether the adverse effects of high dietary rice bran (RB) inclusion levels on the feed intake, performance, bone status and nitrogen (N) retention of broilers could be mitigated by wet feeding. Giving a completely randomized design experiment in 2 × 2 factorial arrangement, seventy two broiler chickens, managed in 24 floor pens received one of the tw...

Effect of in ovo Feeding and Dietary Feeding of Silybum marianum Extract on Performance, Immunity and Blood Cation-Anion Balance of Broiler Chickens Exposed to High Temperatures

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of in ovo feeding (IOF) and dietary feeding of Silybum marianum (SM) extract on the immunity of chicken under heat stress conditions. A total of 360 fertile eggs from a commercial broiler breeder (Ross-308) farm was used for in ovo feeding of 0, 100 and 200 mg/L SM water extract at day 17.5 of incubation. After hatching, 240 chicks were tr...
