Panic Disorder in Children

چکیده مقاله:

Background: One of the psychological disorders that rooted in anxiety is the panic disorder. There are a lot of studies about this disorder in adults, while fewer studies are assigned to panic disorder in children. This study reviews the available articles and tries to show the different parts of the disorder. Also, panic disorder in children is considered in terms of content, signs and treatment methods. Conclusion: According to the current studies, this disorder might be seen in children and it is similar with panic disorder in adults. Studies determine that there are effective therapeutic strategies for treatment of panic disorder. For accessing a healthy society, more studies are needed about panic disorder in children.
