Nano Clay as New Tool for Discoloration of Deyed Denim Garmnet with Indigo
نویسندگان
چکیده مقاله:
Until recently, discoloration of the denim garment has been carried out through various methods including mechanical, chemical, physical and enzymatic treatments. In this study, the nano clay was co-applied in bio stone washing of denim with cellulase to obtain denim garment with a new look and clear effluent. Acid and neutral cellulases along with nano clay were applied on the dyed denim fabric with indigo and the properties of the treated sample and the obtained effluent were evaluated. The color changes of the denim fabric were investigated using colorimetric methods. The surfaces of the treated samples and montmorillonite in effluent were observed using SEM and TEM respectively. According to the results, nano clay as new tool, along with cellulase is caused increase of the lightness and decrease of the back-staining, create a new look and reduces the remained color in the effluent.

Enzyme washing of indigo and sulphur dyed denim
Introduction Denim as a fabric, has received the widest acceptance among all textile products. It has had an incredible influence on consumers both socially and culturally (Paul 2015). This twill cotton fabric usually has warp threads indigo dyed while weft remains plain white. The warp faced fabric therefore looks blue on one side and white on reverse. The warp being ring dyed, creates denim’s...

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
Discoloration of Indigo Carmine Using Aqueous Extracts from Vegetables and Vegetable Residues as Enzyme Sources
Several vegetables and vegetable residues were used as sources of enzymes capable to discolor indigo carmine (IC), completely or partially. Complete discoloration was achieved with aqueous extracts of green pea seeds and peels of green pea, cucumber, and kohlrabi, as well as spring onion leaves. The source of polyphenol oxidase (PPO), pH, time, and aeration is fundamental for the discoloration ...
متن کاملSustainable Dyeing of Denim Using Indigo Dye Recovered with Polyvinylidene Difluoride Ultrafiltration Membranes
Indigo is one of the most consumed dyes in the textile sector, as it is widely used for the dyeing of denim clothes. About 15% of indigo used in the dyeing process is discharged to the wastewater treatment plants or sometimes into rivers, in countries where regulations are not strictly applied. In this work, real effluents that contained indigo dye were treated by means of 4 different ultrafilt...

Nanosensors can be defined as sensors based on nanotechnology. The aim of some nanobiosensor projects at potentially high volume applications in the public health sector, as preventing food poisoning where markets might be significant, while the other aim to improve on existing clinical practises by allowing the more quantification and rapid detection of bacteria and viruses. It should increase...
