Investigation of Accountable Medical Education in Iran

Introduction: Nowadays, education development center at the medical university of changing the gols and processes of leadership and management is important. Example of developments medical education is accountable medical education in Iran. in Considering priorities for public health problems in the functional fields. the purpose of this review article was to assess the state of accountable medical education in Iran. Methods: In this review study, the Pubmed, Google scholar search engines were searched using “medical”, “accountable”, “socially” and “education”, as the keywords. this search strateg using the most relevant and up-to-date books and articles. Results: Medical education program will be held accountable in the context of community. focus on activities in education, research and service is ethical principles and priorities of the community. in this program, student earn the knowledge and skills through various professional and community coping with future problems. responding to the health needs of the community and prepare student to offer communitybased curriculum. Conclusion: It seems, during the difficult path in response to community needs. determine priorities, allocating resources reasonably accurate, the transformation is successful in accountable medical education. It is necessary, medical education is broad and deep consideration.
