Identifying and Prioritizing Ways of Empowering Female-Headed of Households

Introduction: Over the past decades, women have been more exposed to and sexual discrimination than men. This is because women did not have the capabilities and facilities needed to empower and reduce poverty. Empowerment is defined as essential for the empowerment of low-income people to achieve their rights. Therefore, it is necessary to identify and introduce women's empowerment methods. Method: The present research is applied in terms of purpose and is descriptive in terms of survey method. The present research is applied in a quantitative and descriptive-analytical descriptive study. This research seeks to identify and prioritize the ways to empower Female-headed households with Fuzzy Delphi (F-DELPHI) and Network Analysis Process (ANP). Data collection tools were interviews and questionnaires. the interview and questionnaires were done in the welfare office of Savadkuh city (polsefid). Results: Based on library studies and interviews, ways of empowering Female-headed households were identified and categorized at three levels of person, family and society. After distributing the questionnaire among experts and prioritizing them, The main and important ways include social health, Professional training, Life Skills Training, Create market, Rehabilitation, Give the facility, Social security, Basket of goods, Funding for organizations to support women and the allowance were identified. Discussion: The results showed that personal empowerment-based ways have a higher priority than ways to empower through direct financial assistance these ways has attracted expert opinion.
