This is an article about children's deafness, it's ethiology, diagnosis, treatment, and educational treatment. Here I have given a brief account about the deafness itself and it's individual and social complications, also it's impression on the psychological well baing of the child. Then I have discussed, rather in detail, the ethiology of .children's deafness and I have given some statistics about the ethiological factors involved in producing children's deafness. In the diagnosis, a paragaph has been devoted to the advantages of early diagnosis and there is a talk about the parts of physician, parents and otoloryngologist in diagnosing the defect and the results of their co-operation. At th_e end, without referring to the detailed technical instruments and problems, an account has been given of the ways of education of these children and giving them the chance of being a useful, active and normal members of the society.
