Abstract:

An efficient one-pot four-component protocol for the synthesis of pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazolederivatives has been demonstrated using Y(NO3)3.6H2O as catalyst under mild condition. This isa general synthetic protocol which could be applicable to a wide range of carbonyl compoundsincluding aromatic aldehydes, isatins and acenaphthenequinone. All The reactions proceededsmoothly, high-yielding and purity via an easy work-up procedure.

Trichloroacetic Acid as an Efficient Catalyst for One-pot Synthesis of Highly Functionalized Piperidines via multi-component Reaction

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) was used as an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of highly functionalized piperidines via a one-pot five-component reaction of aromatic amines, aromatic aldehydes and β-keto esters in MeOH at room temperature. The remarkable advantages offered by this method are good yields, simple procedure, short reaction times, no need to column chromatography and an easy wo...

Phosphine-catalyzed domino reaction: an efficient method for the synthesis of highly functionalized spirooxazolines.

A novel phosphine-catalyzed intermolecular [3 + 2] cycloaddition of ynones and N-substituted isatins was developed. In this reaction, substituted ynones, serving as a C(3) synthon, were successfully applied in intermolecular annulation reactions. A number of functionalized spirooxazolines were obtained in high yields and stereoselectivity.

Highly efficient one-pot four-component synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives catalyzed by stannous chloride under solvent-free conditions

A rapid and efficient one-pot, four-component protocol towards the synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives has been developed. The condensation of aldehyde, dimedone, ethyl acetoacetate and ammonium acetate in presence of stannous chloride was carried out under solvent free condition to synthesize a variety of polyhydroquinoline derivatives in good to excellent yields. Stannous chloride was...
