Abstract:
قبل از کشف و مصرف آنتی بیوتیک ها، خطر سل در بین کارکنان بهداشتی بسیار قابل توجه بود، اما از سال ۱۹۵۰ به دلیل کاهش موارد بروز بیماری در جمعیت و ظهور روشهای درمانی مؤثر، به سرعت کاهش یافت. این تغییرات، اگر نگوئیم غفلت کامل، در دست کم کاهش فعالیتهای کنترل عفونت در بیمارستانها را سبب شد. در سراسر دهه گذشته، دو عامل، عمیقاً نظرات موجود نسبت به خطر سل در در میان کارکنان بهداشتی را تغییر داد.
