Transformation from manufacturing process taxonomy to repair process taxonomy: a phenetic approach
Authors
Abstract:
The need of taxonomy is vital for knowledge sharing. This need has been portrayed by through-life engineering services/systems. This paper addresses this issue by repair process taxonomy development. Framework for repair process taxonomy was developed followed by its implementation. The importance of repair process taxonomy has been highlighted.

Taxonomy of Process Modeling Languages
A software process is defined as a description of various steps that must be carried out by process agents to pursue the goals of software engineering. To support a software process, a model must first be built which specifies how the software engineering activity is to be carried out, the roles and task assignments involved, the resources consumed, the tools used, the input and output needed f...

The growing number of eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) projects around the world and strong interest from bodies such as Security Exchange Commission in the United States (SEC), Central European Banking Supervisors in the European Union (CEBS) or International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in building XBRL taxonomies demonstrate the need for formalisation and methodical approac...
full textTowards a Taxonomy of Process Flexibility
Effective business processes must be able to accommodate changes to the environment in which they operate, e.g., new laws, changes in business strategy. The ability to encompass such changes is termed process flexibility. In this paper, we take a deeper look into the various ways in which flexibility can be achieved and propose a comprehensive taxonomy of these methods which identifies both the...
full textPhenetic and DNA taxonomy; a comment on Waugh.
Sir, This correspondence attempts to clarify two important issues relevant to the DNA barcoding initiative raised in Waugh’s otherwise, cogent and useful review. The first issue concerns the way that Waugh presents the analytic approach to DNA-barcoding data, and the second involves a broader issue with respect to the role of DNA barcoding in modern biology. Both issues are of great importance ...
full textf/sla from learner perspectives: a social activity or a cognitive process
in the past couple of decades sociocultural theory of sla and its implications in efl contexts have attracted attentions of research circles worldwide and aroused some controversies. firth and wagner (1997) have questioned the principles of the cognitive view which gives importance to mental constructs in favor of sociocultural view which highlights social and contextual constructs. but if soci...
15 صفحه اولBisimulation Collapse and the Process Taxonomy
We consider the factorization (collapse) of infinite transition graphs wrt. bisimulation equivalence. It turns out that almost none of the more complex classes of the process taxonomy, which has been established in the last years, are preserved by this operation. However, for the class of BPA graphs (i.e. prefix transition graphs of context-free grammars) we can show that the factorization is e...
