and the lepton interactions on the other hand. We note further that the quantities xpr C yx ip and ipT C yxy5y> are covariants not only under real but also under special complex transformation as can be proved easily by using relation (8 c). As to the quantization, we have already remarked above, that one can perhaps make use of the linearity of the field equation in the “intrinsic” system by w...

Estimation of Gas Mixture Compressibility Factor and Viscosity based on AI and Experimental DataEstimation of Gas Mixture Compressibility Factor and Viscosity based on AI and Experimental Data

Compressibility factor and viscosity of natural gasses are of great importance in petroleum and chemical engineering. To calculate the natural gas properties in the pipelines, storage systems and reservoirs, the exact values of gas compressibility factor and viscosity are required. A new method that allows accurate determination of compressibility factor and gas viscosity for all types of: swee...

Thermal diffusion and mixture separation in the acoustic boundary layer

Oscillating thermal diffusion in a sound wave in a mixture of two gases is remarkably effective for separating the components of the mixture. We consider this separation process in boundary-layer approximation, with zero temperature gradient and zero concentration gradient along the direction of sound propagation. In the boundary layer, the combination of thermal diffusion with the oscillating ...

Effect of Compression on the Effective Thermal Conductivity and Thermal Contact Resistance in Pem Fuel Cell Gas Diffusion Layers

Heat transfer through the gas diffusion layer (GDL) of a PEM fuel cell is a key process in the design and operation a PEM fuel cell. The analysis of this process requires determination of the effective thermal conductivity as well as the thermal contact resistance between the GDL and adjacent surfaces/layers. In the present study, a guarded-hot-plate apparatus has been designed and built to mea...
