Abstract:
در این مقاله به معرفی دیدگاههای محمد آرکون (1928-2010) دربارۀ ادب، جامعهی مدنی و سکولاریزم میپردازیم. ما با پیگیری تأملات مربوط «ادب»، که الهامبخش آرکون در بازاندیشی در میراث اسلامی شده است، نشان میدهیم که او چگونه تأثیر فلسفه هم در الهیات و هم در پژوهشهای دانشگاهی را از نو مورد بررسی قرار داده است. در این مقاله امیدهای آرکون را برای ایجاد تربیت فکری نوآورانه به نمایش خواهیم گذاشت، که سرانجام به آگاهی اومانیستی در جهان اسلام و بیرون از آن خواهد انجامید. مقاله را با معرفی افکار آرکون دربارۀ ظهور شهروندی فردی به پایان میبریم.
