The Generalized Wave Model Representation of Singular 2-D Systems

Authors

Abstract:

    M. and M.   Abstract: Existence and uniqueness of solution for singular 2-D systems depends on regularity condition. Simple regularity implies regularity and under this assumption, the generalized wave model (GWM) is introduced to cast singular 2-D system of equations as a family of non-singular 1-D models with variable structure. These index dependent models, along with a set of boundary constraint relations, forming the admissible subspace, led to the recursive solution of the GWM.

On the representation of 2-D systems

The behavioral approach to 2-D systems essentially consists in viewing a system as a family of admissible signals (the system behavior) instead of as a set of describing equations (which constitute a system representation). From this stand point, it is natural to define properties of systems in terms of their signals and not of their representations. The translation of the system structure into...

On the Solution of the General Singular Model of 2-d Systems

The main objective of this work is to provide a closed formula for the forward, backward and symmetric solution of the 2-D general singular model (GSM) given in (Kurek, 1985). Of fundamental importance in our approach is the relative forward and backward fundamental matrix. Copyright c 2005 IFAC. Keywords: 2-D general singular models, implicit 2-D systems, fundamental matrix, forward solution, ...

On Some Characterization of Generalized Representation Wave-Packet Frames Based on Some Dilation Group

In this paper we consider  (extended) metaplectic representation of the  semidirect product  $G_{mathbb{J}}=mathbb{R}^{2d}timesmathbb{J}$  where $mathbb{J}$ is a closed subgroup of $Sp(d,mathbb{R})$, the symplectic group. We will investigate continuous representation frame on $G_{mathbb{J}}$. We also discuss the existence of duals for such frames and give several characterization for them. Fina...

the use of appropriate madm model for ranking the vendors of mci equipments using fuzzy approach

abstract nowadays, the science of decision making has been paid to more attention due to the complexity of the problems of suppliers selection. as known, one of the efficient tools in economic and human resources development is the extension of communication networks in developing countries. so, the proper selection of suppliers of tc equipments is of concern very much. in this study, a ...

2-D Surface Wave Tomography in the Northwest Part of the Iranian Plateau

In this study, we obtained two-dimensional tomography maps of the Rayleigh wave group velocity for the northwest part of the Iranian Plateau in order to investigate the structure of the crust and the uppermost mantle of NW Iran. To do this, the local earthquake data during the period 2006-2013, recorded by the 10 broadband stations of the Iranian seismic network (INSN) were used. After the prel...

heterogeneity within the orientalist discourse: representation of the orient in womens travelogues and mens paintings

from 1950s onward, new theories and critical approaches burgeoned across humanities. these theories were context-oriented; as a result, the analysis of discursive practices gained significance. thus, social, political, historical and cultural discourses that have been hitherto marginalized and considered inferior to literary texts, were introduced as important texts to be analyzed by critics. o...
