Abstract:

آپنه انسدادی در خواب با تنفس غیر طبیعی در خواب مشخص می شود. تعریف استاندارد قطع تنفس، در عبارت از قطع جریان هوا در بینی و دهان مدت بیشتر از ده ثانیه و یا بیشتر از ۵ بار در ساعت می باشد. آپنه انسدادی در خواب هنگامیکه راههای هوایی فوقانی مسدود شده در حالیکه تلاش برای تنفس ادامه دارد، اتفاق می افتد. طبق این تعریف، همه کودکان، اختلالات تنفسی هنگام خواب طبقه بندی OSA قرار نمی گیرند.
