SOME RESULTS OF CONTINUITY ?f

Authors: not saved
Abstract:

The dynamical behavior of a map on the unit interval has been the subject of much contemporary research. In this paper, we will consider the relation between the continuity of the map cof and cof for some positive integer k, where f is a continuous map from the unit interval to itself, and ?f is a function which takes any element of the unit interval to the set of all subsequential limits of the orbit of x under f Also, it is shown that for any k, the continuity of ?f implies the equicontinuity of the iterates { f n}.

Weak $F$-contractions and some fixed point results

In this paper we define weak $F$-contractions on a‎ ‎metric space into itself by extending $F$-contractions‎ ‎introduced by D‎. ‎Wardowski (2012) and provide some fixed point‎ ‎results in complete metric spaces and in partially ordered complete ‎generalized metric spaces‎. ‎Some relationships between weak‎ ‎$F$-contractions and $Fi$-contractions are highlighted‎. ‎We also ‎give some application...

Some Results on Automatic Continuity of Group Representations and Morphisms

In the first part of the paper, some criteria of continuity of representations from a locally compact group in a Banach algebra are given. The common feature of these results is the fact that the continuity of a representation can be deduced from the continuity of its composition with some linear forms on its range. The second part uses the result of the first part to deduce automatic continuit...

Some Technical Results on Continuity , Strategy - proofness , and Related Strategic

There are many concepts of nonmanipulability, including strategy-proofness (and its several coalitional variants), Nash implementability, self Nash implementability, and nonbossi-ness. We explore the relationships between these concepts in the context of continuous social choice functions (SCF's). For any continuous SCF on a continuously and monotonically closed domain, we nd that strategy-proo...

CONTINUITY OF THE MAPS f → ⋃

We study the behavior of two maps in an effort to better understand the stability of ωlimit sets ω(x, f ) as we perturb either x or f , or both. The first map is the set-valued function Λ taking f in C(I ,I) to its collection of ω-limit points Λ( f ) = ⋃x∈I ω(x, f ), and the second is the map Ω taking f in C(I ,I) to its collection of ω-limit sets Ω( f )= {ω(x, f ) : x ∈ I}.We characterize thos...
