Some New Concepts About IT2FNs With Their Usage in Group Decision-Making Problems

Authors

Abstract:

Interavl type-2 fuzzy numbers (IT2FNs) are used in many real problems such as multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems, to model the opinions/judgments of experts. This paper, using centroid points and uncertainty degrees of IT2FNs, presents a new method to rank them. Also, we present new methods based on Choquet integral and various types of Power average to aggregate a set of IT2FNs into a single one, separately. Finally, a new way is suggested to determine the importance degree of each criterion or decision maker in decision making problems. As an application, these methods will be applied to solve a group decision making problem

Evaluating Construction Projects by a New Group Decision-Making Model Based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Logic Concepts

Select an appropriate project is a main key for contractors to increase their profits. In practice, in this area the uncertainty and imprecise of the involved parameters is so high. Therefore, considering fuzzy sets theory to deal with uncertainly is more appreciate. The aim of this paper is present a multi-criteria group decision-making model under an intuitionistic fuzzy set environment. Henc...

Some New Similarity Measures for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Values and Their Application in Group Decision Making

We first propose a series of similarity measures for intuitionistic fuzzy values (IFVs) based on the intuitionistic fuzzy operators (Atanassov 1995). The parameters in the proposed similarity measures can control the degree of membership and the degree of non-membership of an IFV, which can reflect the decision maker’s risk preference. Moreover, we can obtain some known similarity measures when...

Designing a model of intuitionistic fuzzy VIKOR in multi-attribute group decision-making problems

Multiple attributes group decision making (MAGDM) is regarded as the process of determining the best feasible solution by a group of experts or decision makers according to the attributes that represent different effects. In assessing the performance of each alternative with respect to each attribute and the relative importance of the selected attributes, quantitative/qualitative evaluations ar...

Dealing with Incompleteness of Preferences in Group Decision Making Problems

While considering processes of decision making we often encounter the problem of incomplete information. In group decision making (GDM) problems each decision maker is supposed to provide a matrix that describes his/her preferences over the set of given options. However, we have to take into account that an expert can not be able to define his/her preferences about all the options. Usually the ...

Group Generalized Interval-valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Sets and Their Applications in\ Decision Making

Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) are widely used to handle uncertainty and imprecision in decision making. However, in more complicated environment, it is difficult to express the uncertain information by an IVIFS with considering the decision-making preference. Hence, this paper proposes a group generalized interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft set (G-GIVIFSS) which conta...

Some Arithmetic Aggregation Operators with Intuitionistic Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers and Their Application to Group Decision Making

Methods for aggregating intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy information are investigated. Some operational laws of intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are introduced. Based on these operational laws, some aggregation operators, including intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (ITFOWA) operator and intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy hybrid aggregation (ITFHA) operator, are p...
