Abstract:

The Supply Chain is considered a necessity for the success of organizations seeking the most economic, environmental and social impacts. In addition, the implementation and suitable execution of this supply chain seems to be necessary. Considering the importance of the social impacts of this supply chain, a fuzzy multi-objective mathematical model is provided such that, in addition to considering the environmental and economic impacts, social impacts are also considered. In order to approximate the provided model to real-world conditions, some parameters are considered under conditions of uncertainty and in the form of triangular fuzzy numbers. A two-step method is provided to solve the proposed model. In the first step, the model converges to a determinate multi- objective problem using the necessity measure and in the second step the model is solved using the cumulative function method .Finally, to show the applicability of the proposed method, a real industrial case study is provided.

Multi-objective design of fuzzy logic controller in supply chain

Unlike commonly used methods, in this paper, we have introduced a new approach for designing fuzzy controllers. In this approach, we have simultaneously optimized both objective functions of a supply chain over a two-dimensional space. Then, we have obtained a spectrum of optimized points, each of which represents a set of optimal parameters which can be chosen by the manager ...

A new multi-objective mathematical model for a Citrus supply chain network design: Metaheuristic algorithms

Nowadays, the citrus supply chain has been motivated by both industrial practitioners and researchers due to several real-world applications. This study considers a four-echelon citrus supply chain, consisting of gardeners, distribution centers, citrus storage, and fruit market. A Mixed Integer Non-Linear Programming (MINLP) model is formulated, which seeks to minimize the total cost and maximi...

Solving fuzzy stochastic multi-objective programming problems based on a fuzzy inequality

Probabilistic or stochastic programming is a framework for modeling optimization problems that involve uncertainty. In this paper, we focus on multi-objective linear programmingproblems in which the coefficients of constraints and the righthand side vector are fuzzy random variables. There are several methodsin the literature that convert this problem to a stochastic or<b...

A multi - objective fuzzy mathematical approach for sustainable reverse supply chain configuration

Resource depletion and e-waste generation through electronics use have reached an alarming stage in developing countries, posing a serious threat to the environment and human health (Wath, Dutt & Chakrabarti 2011:260). During the last decade, there has been an exponential increase in the use of electronics in India, and most of these are discarded irresponsibly by consumers (Wath et al. 2011:25...

A new method for solving fuzzy multi-objective linear programming problems

The purpose of this paper is to develop a new two-stage method for fuzzy multi-objective linear program and apply to engineering project portfolio selection. In the fuzzy multi-objective linear program, all the objective coefficients, technological coefficients and resources are trapezoidal fuzzy numbers (TrFNs). An order relationship for TrFNs is introduced by using the interval expectation of...
