Abstract:

Background and Aim: One of the main reasons of blindness, Unilateral vision weakness in children, adolescents and middle aged people is Amblyopia. The goal of this project is to design and production of a serious game to treating Amblyopia and to investigate the effects of this method in children's. Materials and Methods: In this Interactive analysis, 60 people suffering from Unilateral Amblyopia are divided into two test groups and one distributed controller groups entered the research. To intervene during the project, produced tools namely SIGMA (smart phone) were used. Visual Acuity of samples are measure before and after the intervention. Collected data were used and analyzed in SPSS software version 22 in two Descriptive and inferential manners. Conclusion: In first test groups Visual Acuity of 12 samples(63%) Improved and in 7 samples(37%) no changes were observed. In second test groups Visual Acuity of 11 samples(65%) Improved and in 6 samples(35%) no changes were observed. In controlled groups Visual Acuity of 5 samples(27%) Improved and in 13 samples(72%) no changes were observed. There is a meaningful difference(p≤0.05) between improved sample numbers of test groups and controlled group. Results: Using SIGMA games alone and along with other methods lead to improvement visual acuity in lazy eye in children's.
