Short P-R Syndrome with Normal QRS and Paroxysmal Tachycardia

Abstract:

Syndrome de P -R court et QRS normal avec les crises de tachycardie Paroxystique ou le syndrome de (Lown-Ganong-Levine). Dans une enqete epidemiologique sur les ma­ladies cardiovasculaires chez deux populations rurales de Roudsar et Azarbaidjan oriental nous avons retrouve 6 cas de P -R court avec QRS normal. Dans cet article nous avons brievement passe en revue les vois de conduction auriculoventri­culaire, la pathogenes de "Pre-excitation" et les caracteristique electrocardiographiques du syn­drome de "L.G.L." L'intervalle de P -R dans ce syndrome doit etre ega,le OU inferieure a 0, 12 de seconde; mais nous avons choisie d'a:pres le code de Minm:·sota les intervalles de P -R inferieure a 0, 12 de se­conde. Ainsi la prevalence de cette anomalie estimee a 2 a 4% pour Castellanos et Coll et a 1% pour Seers et Manning nous a paru de 0, 26 a o,66%. Au cours de ces syndrome Lown-Canong et Levine et d' autres auteurs ont insiiste sur la frequence dela tachycardie pa:roxystique mais il est difficile d'apprecier cette frequence par une etude transversale .comme la notre. Cepen­dant il semble indispensable de rechercher les antecedents de la tachycardie paroxystique chez les sujets atteints de ce syndrome et de savoir qu'il peuvent ulterieurement presenter des troubles du rythme cardiaque.

Re-entrant tachycardia using two bypass tracts and excluding AV node in short PR interval, normal QRS syndrome.
