Abstract:

سرخجه یا سرخک آلمانی یا بیماری سه روزه، یک بیماری بثوری خفیف ویروسی و شدیدا مسری دوران کودکی و نوجوانی است. علیرغم اثر زیاد واکسن این بیماری، بیش از ۲۰٪ زنان نتوانسته اند در دوران کودکی خود آنتی بادی بر علیه این ویروس را کسب نمایند. سرخجه که در زمان غیر بارداری از اهمیت کمی برخوردار است، ولی می تواند بطور مستقیم مسئول عوارض بارداری و ناهنجاریهای مادر زادی بشمار آید.

Rubella vaccination and termination of pregnancy.

Six terminations of pregnancy have been carried out in Leicestershire since February 1970 because of rubella vaccine administered inadvertently during early unrecognized pregnancy. Any woman of child bearing age shown by serological tests to be susceptible to rubella should be offered vaccination, preceded and followed by adequate contraception.

Rubella susceptibility and continuing risk of infection in pregnancy.

Sera of 2000 pregnant women attending the antenatal clinic of the Aga Khan University Hospital were tested for rubella antibodies.
