q-Poisson, q-Dobinski, q-Rota and q-coherent states

The q-Dobinski formula may be interpreted as the average of powers of random variable X q with the q-Poisson distribution. Forty years ago Rota G. C. [1] proved the exponential generating function for Bell numbers B n to be of the form ∞ n=0 x n n! (B n) = exp(e x − 1) (1) using the linear functional L such that L(X n) = 1, n ≥ 0 (2) Then Bell numbers (see: formula (4) in [1]) are defined by L(...

ON Q-BITOPOLOGICAL SPACES

We study here $T_{0}$-$Q$-bitopological spaces and sober $Q$-bitopological spaces and their relationship with two particular Sierpinski objects in the category of $Q$-bitopological spaces. The epireflective hulls of both these Sierpinski objects in the category of $Q$-bitopological spaces turn out to be the category of $T_0$-$Q$-bitopological spaces. We show that only one of these Sierpinski ob...

Q-modules Are Q-suplattices

It is well known that the internal suplattices in the topos of sheaves on a locale are precisely the modules on that locale. Using enriched category theory and a lemma on KZ doctrines we prove (the generalization of) this fact in the case of ordered sheaves on a small quantaloid. Comparing module-equivalence with sheaf-equivalence for quantaloids and using the notion of centre of a quantaloid, ...

The (Q, q)–Schur Algebra

In this paper we use the Hecke algebra of type B to define a new algebra S which is an analogue of the q–Schur algebra. We construct Weyl modules for S and obtain, as factor modules, a family of irreducible S–modules over any field.

THE Q-q-SCHUR SUPERALGEBRA

As a natural generalisation of q-Schur algebras associated with the Hecke algebra Hr,R (of the symmetric group), we introduce the Q-q-Schur superalgebra associated with the Hecke-Clifford superalgebra H r,R, which, by definition, is the endomorphism algebra of the induced H r,R-module from certain q-permutation modules over Hr,R. We will describe certain integral bases for these superalgebras i...
