Abstract:
این بررسی به منظور تعیین مشخصات زنان باردار آلوده به ویروس نقص ایمنی انسان از نوع 1 (1-HIV) با احتمال انتقال 1-HIV از مادر به نوزاد انجام شده است. واحدهای مورد پژوهش شامل زنان باردار و یا بلافاصله بعد از زایمان در خطر ابتلا به HIV بودند که از سال ۱۹۸۶ تا ۱۹۹۲ در بخشهای مراقبت مادران و کودکان نیویورک بستری شده بودند. مشخصات دموگرافیک و رفتاری، ابتلاء به بیماریهای کلینیکی، نوع لنفوسیت T، غلظت ایمنوگلوبولین و سرولوژی سیفلیس در این زنان جمع آوری شد. نوزادان نیز بر اساس معیار مرکز پیشگیری و کنترل عفونت جهت بیماری ایدز در کودکان ، تحت پیگیری قرار گرفتند. میزان انتقال در زنانی که بیش از ۱۵ ماه قبل از بررسی زایمان کرده بودند، محاسبه گردید.
