PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF CERTAIN THREE DIMENSIONAL AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
Authors: not saved
Abstract:
There has been extensive work on the existence of periodic solutions for nonlinear second order autonomous differantial equations, but little work regarding the third order problems. The popular Poincare-Bendixon theorem applies well to the former but not the latter (see [2] and [3]). We give a necessary condition for the existence of periodic solutions for the third order autonomous systems, This may become useful in further investigations. Our claims are proved and supported by certain examples.

full textPERIODIC SOLUTIONS IN CERTAIN CLASS OF 3- DIMENSION DISCONTINUOUS AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
In the present paper the linear oscillator in R3 with z =constanthas been considered. The aim is to determine the necessary conditions forthe persistence of periodic solutions under discontinuous perturbations. A newapproach based on a computational method has been used. At the end weapply our method on an example.

full textRobust stabilization of a class of three-dimensional uncertain fractional-order non-autonomous systems
This paper concerns the problem of robust stabilization of uncertain fractional-order non-autonomous systems. In this regard, a single input active control approach is proposed for control and stabilization of three-dimensional uncertain fractional-order systems. The robust controller is designed on the basis of fractional Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, the effects of model uncertai...
full textMultiple Periodic Solutions for Autonomous Conservative Systems
We consider an autonomous conservative second order system defined by a potential which admits a connected set Γ of critical points at level zero. We prove the existence of multiple periodic solutions of large period which are located near Γ.
