ON UNICITY OF MEROMORPHIC FUNCTION AND ITS kTH ORDER DERIVATIVE

In this paper, we study the uniqueness problems on meromorphic function and its k th order derivative. The results in this paper improve the results given by K. W. Yu (On entire and meromorphic functions that share small functions with their derivatives, J. Inequal. Pure Appl. Math. 4(1)(2003), Art. 21), L. P. Liu and Y. X. Gu (Uniqueness of meromorphic functions that share one small function w...

Characteristic function of a meromorphic function and its derivatives

In this paper, some results of Singh, Gopalakrishna and Kulkarni (1970s) have been extended to higher order derivatives. It has been shown that, if $sumlimits_{a}Theta(a, f)=2$ holds for a meromorphic function $f(z)$ of finite order, then for any positive integer $k,$ $T(r, f)sim T(r, f^{(k)}), rrightarrowinfty$ if $Theta(infty, f)=1$ and $T(r, f)sim (k+1)T(r, f^{(k)}), rrightarrowinfty$ if $Th...

Exceptional Values of Meromorphic Function on Annulus

The main purpose of this paper is to study the exceptional values of meromorphic function and its derivative on annulus. We also give some theorems and corollaries about exceptional values of meromorphic function on the annulus, which are the improvement of the previous results given by Chen and Wu.

On the singularities of the inverse to a meromorphic function of finite order

Our main result implies the following theorem: Let f be a transcendental meromorphic function in the complex plane. If f has finite order ρ, then every asymptotic value of f , except at most 2ρ of them, is a limit point of critical values of f . We give several applications of this theorem. For example we prove that if f is a transcendental meromorphic function then f ′fn with n ≥ 1 takes every...

Iterated Order of Meromorphic Solutions of Certain Higher Order Linear Differential Equations with Meromorphic Coefficients of Finite Iterated Order

In this paper, we investigate the iterated order of meromorphic solutions of homogeneous and nonhomogeneous linear differential equations where the coefficients are meromorphic functions satisfying certain growth conditions. And some estimates of iterated convergence exponent are also given. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 34M10, 30D35

On the Meromorphic Continuation of Degree Two L - Functions

We prove that the L-function of any regular (distinct Hodge numbers), irreducible, rank two motive over the rational numbers has meromorphic continuation to the whole complex plane and satisfies the expected functional equation. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 11R39, 11F80, 11G40.
