Measurement the Self-Efficacy among Infertile Women in Al-Hilla City

Abstract:

Objectives: This study aims to measure the self-efficacy among women who are suffering from infertility in the Al-Hilla city/ Iraq Methods: Cross-sectional design carried out in Al-Hilla city to measure the self-efficacy among infertile women. Non-probability purposive sampling consisted of 107 (Mean± SD= 28.81±6.306) women had infertility. The date which is collected from the study sample by using the questionnaire form (ISE scale ) consisted of three points Likert scale to measure self-efficacy among infertile women. Results: The results show the overall self-efficacy of infertile women is low, also there is a significant association between all parameters at p-value <0.05 except the age and level of education which were non-significant.  Discussion: The study concludes that the highest percentage of study sample had age more than 30 years and most of them living in the urban area, the overall self-efficacy among infertile women was low and the correlation between self-efficacy and their demographical data was significant except the age and level of education.
