Magnetic and Electerical Resistivity Behavior of Amorphous Ni Co P Films

author

Abstract:

Magnetic and Electrical Resistivity Study of Electroless Amorphous Ternary System (Ni-Co-P) show a qualitative dependence of crystalline phases formed during transformation on the annealing temperature and composition. Electrical Resistivity values increases with increase in cobalt content and samples with higher resistivity show lower temperature coefficients. The Initial increase in magnetization is due to separation of crystalline magnetic phases (a-Cobalt and f.c.c. Nickel), and tends to decrease by formation of equilibrium phases at higher temperature.

Magnetic behavior of na films with Fe, Co, and Ni impurities.

Thin films of Na with Fe, Co, and Ni impurities are investigated. The magnetization of the impurities is measured by means of the anomalous Hall resistance. Fe and Co show a moment of about 6mu(B), while for Ni no moment is detected. Furthermore, the magnetic dephasing of the conduction electrons is measured by means of weak localization. The dephasing rate 1/tau(phi) of the 3d impurities diffe...

Hall coefficient and resistivity of amorphous Ti1-xAlx films.

The resistivity of codeposited amorphous Til „Al films has been measured from 1.5 to 300 K over the composition range 0.4~x ~0.92, and the Hall coefficient has been measured at 4 K. The resistivity exhibits a relatively small temperature dependence. The magnitude of the room-temperature resistivity varies appreciably with composition, with a broad maximum around 250 pQ cm near x =0.5. The Hall ...

Structure and Magnetic Properties of Oxide Nanoparticles of Fe-Co-Ni Synthesized by Co-Precipitation Method

Oxide nanoparticles of Fe-Co-Ni were prepared in six different compositions by co-precipitation method. The as-synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron microscope (FESEM), Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer  (VSM). It was found that the nanoparticles had mean crystalline size of 30-55 nm and spher...

Magnetic properties of amorphous Ni60Ag40 films

Amorphous Ni–Ag films were obtained on liquid nitrogen cooled Si substrates using DC magnetron sputtering. A series of magnetic and magneto-transport property measurements confirm that the film with Ni to Ag atomic ratio of 60:40 is an alloy of the two elements immiscible in equilibrium, with atomic-level intermixing. The magnetic properties of the new alloy are discussed in comparison with tho...

Enhancing superconducting properties of MgB2 pellets by addition of amorphous magnetic Ni-Co-B nanoparticles

Amorphous magnetic Ni-Co-B nanoparticles with an average size of 5 nm were added to precursor powders of MgB2 superconductor. The preparation procedure for MgB2 pellets was optimized for obtaining the best critical current density ( Jc) at elevated magnetic fields. Addition of Ni-Co-B decreases the Jc for heat treatment of precursor powders at 650 ° C. Heat treatments at 770 ° C and higher impr...

Resistivity dependence of magnetoresistance in Co/ZnO films

We report the dependence of magnetoresistance effect on resistivity (ρ) in Co/ZnO films deposited by magnetron sputtering at different sputtering pressures with different ZnO contents. The magnitude of the resistivity reflects different carrier transport regimes ranging from metallic to hopping behaviors. Large room-temperature magnetoresistance greater than 8% is obtained in the resistivity ra...
