Lysine Requirements of Female Japanese Quails Base on Performance and Carcass Variables from Twenty-One to Forty-Two Days of Age
Authors
Abstract:
The present research was conducted to estimate the dietary lysine (Lys) requirement of growing female quail base on performance and carcass constitutes at 24 to 42 d of age. A dose-response diet mainly based on corn, corn gluten and soybean meal was used. Lys content was minimized in dose-response diet (10 g/kg) while assuring the minimum levels of all other essential amino acids in a manner that would meet or exceed recommendation. This experiment was carried out in a complete randomized design arrangement with 6 dietary Lys level; 10.0, 11.5, 13.0, 14.5, 16.0 and 17.5 g/kg, from 21 to 42 d of age. Each treatment was consisted of 5 floor pens as replicate with 50 quail chicks. As a result of this study increasing dietary Lys level, body weight, body weight gain and feed conversion ratio improved significantly (P

full textDigestible lysine requirements of male and female broilers from fourteen to twenty-eight days of age.
There is little research data available on the digestible Lys requirement of broilers from 2 to 4 wk of age. Two experiments were conducted to determine the digestible Lys requirements of male and female Ross x Ross TP16 broilers from 14 to 28 d. Two diets (dilution and summit) consisting of corn, soybean meal, poultry by-product meal, and peanut meal were formulated to be adequate in all other...

Experiments were conducted to evaluate digestible (dig) Lys requirements of male and female broiler chickens from 49 to 63 d of age. A dose-response diet consisting of corn, soybean meal, and corn gluten meal was formulated to be adequate in dig amino acid concentrations with the exception of Lys. L-Lysine . HCl was added to the dose-response diet to create 7 experimental diets. Concentrations ...

an experiment was conducted to determine the dietary digestible lysine requirement of male and female broiler chickens (arian) during the period from 6 to 21 days post-hatching. an amino acid-fortified basal diet containing corn and soybean meal as intact protein sources provided 20 % cp, and 3200 kcal amen / kg. in this experiment 150 male and 150 female chicks were allocated on the basis of b...

arginine (arg) requirements of male broilers (ross 308) reared at high altitude (2100 mabove sea level) during the 1-to 3-week period was estimated in a graded supplementationmethod, in which six diets (230 g kg-1 cp and 3200 kcal me kg-1) with arg increments of1.25 g kg-1 were applied to four pens of fifteen birds each. dietary arg content of theexperimental groups ranged from 10 g kg-1 (80% o...
