Improving Creativity through Pictorial Teaching of Farsi   B. Akbari Mobaarakeh* Z. Abaazari, Ph.D.** N. Rahmati*** Z. Mirhoseini, Ph.D.****   To show that pictorial teaching of Farsi can improve creativity, a cluster sample of 320 female 6th graders was divided into two groups one of which was taught Farsi using the pictorial approach for a semester. The two groups’ creativity was measured both at the beginning and end of the semester. Data analyses revealed a significant difference between the two groups’ post test scores in initiating, elaborating, and flexibility. It can be concluded that the implementation of this approach could lead to improvement in creativity.   Keywords: creativity, pictorial teaching, methods of improving creativity                     _______________________ Date received: October 7, 2014                                Date accepted: October 16, 2015 *M.A. in Information Science, Islamic Azad University, North Tehran Branch,(corresponding author) [email protected] **Associate Professor in Information Science, Islamic Azad University, North Tehran Branch, [email protected] ***M.A. in Entrepreneurship Management, Tehran University’s Health Department, [email protected] ****Associate Professor in Information Science, Islamic Azad University, North Tehran Branch, [email protected]
