Abstract:

Purpose: The main concern of this research is a fundamental study in ruling elements of Hovers bone system and making relationship between Bionic and Cybernetic sciences in order to make a better understanding of different sciences and effective use of biologic models and systems for industrial designs. Materials and Methods: the research was done with Origami science, using paper as a basic material in hand and also modeling the split circle in Hovers system in comparison with triangle and square models. In this way, the level of deformation against pressure and the maximum force resistance was studied. Result: the results confirmed that the circle model in comparison with triangle and square models showed the maximum resistance against the sustained pressure both in single and multi forms. Conclusion: In fact the presence of Hovers systems and righteously situated Osteoblades and their organic discipline can be ideal models in designing protective systems used in industry for protecting and stabilizing the means.

Origami based Mechanical Metamaterials

We describe mechanical metamaterials created by folding flat sheets in the tradition of origami, the art of paper folding, and study them in terms of their basic geometric and stiffness properties, as well as load bearing capability. A periodic Miura-ori pattern and a non-periodic Ron Resch pattern were studied. Unexceptional coexistence of positive and negative Poisson's ratio was reported for...

Simulation of Rigid Origami

This paper presents a system for computer based interactive simulation of origami, based on rigid origami model. Our system shows the continuous process of folding a piece of paper into a folded shape by calculating the configuration from the crease pattern. The configuration of the model is represented by crease angles, and the trajectory is calculated by projecting angles motion to the constr...

Simulation and Testing of Mobile Computing Systems using Fujaba

The paper presents an approach for analysis, modeling and validation of mobile information systems with the tool support of Fujaba. The approach is developed based on UMLlike meta models and graph transformation techniques to support sound methodological principals, formal analysis and refinement. With conceptual and concrete level of modeling and simulation, the approach could support applicat...

Dynamic Simulation of Constrained Mechanical Systems Using Recursive Projection Algorithm

In this paper, the dynamic simulation of constrained mechanical systems that are interconnected of rigid bodies is studied using projection recursive algorithm. The method uses the concepts of linear and angular momentums to generate the rigid body equations of motion in terms of the Cartesian coordinates of a dynamically equivalent constrained system of particles, without introducing any rotat...
